City of Snyder

According to the City of Snyder Fireworks Ordinance, it is unlawful to discharge, ignite or use fireworks within the city limits. The city has declared the ONLY exception will be in ONE location at the following specified times.

Weather permitting, fireworks will be allowed to be discharged in a designated area at the North City Park, located between 3rd and 4th Streets and B and C Streets. This exception will be allowed Monday, July 4 from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Anyone caught discharging fireworks in the city limits of Snyder other than the exception listed above will be subject to a citation of $95 for violation of city ordinance. For more details see flier on page 6.

Town of Mt. Park

According to Mt. Park code, use of fireworks in town limits is permitted only on July 4 between the hours of 8 a.m. and midnight. It is unlawful to use any fireworks within the Fire Zone of the town or within 300 feet of any public meeting place, place of religious worship or flammable agricultural crop.
