Larry Richard Serles

Funeral service for Larry Richard Serles, 79, of Frederick will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 25, 2022, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Park Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mr. Serles passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, at his home in Frederick.

Larry Richard Serles was born on June 20, 1943, in Great Falls, Montana, to Nicholas and Lydia (Rufenach) Serles. Larry attended school in Custer, Montana. After he left school, he lived the life of a cowboy for several years, until he entered the United States Army where he served as a rifle marksman. In January of 1989, he and Shari Coffman were united in marriage in Vernon, Texas. In 1995, he, Shari, and the kids moved to Frederick, from Mountain Park. After his discharge from the military, Larry drove a truck for Jewett Scott and Michael Stout Transportation Company and various other trucking companies.

He is survived by his companion, Shari Greear of the home; two stepdaughters, Chasidy Greear of Mountain Park and Enjoli Greear of Lawton; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Lydia Serles.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Larry Richard Serles.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel.
