Wayne "Red" Lowe

Graveside services for Wayne “Red” Lowe, age 84, of Tipton were Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the Tipton Cemetery, under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick. Mr. Lowe passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022, at his home in Tipton.

Wayne “Red” Lowe was born March 11, 1938, in Davidson to Christopher Columbus “Lum” and Gladys Rosie May (Wiggs) Lowe. He attended Davidson Public School. On March 19, 1965, he was united in marriage to Kay Wheeler in Mangum.

He is survived by one son, Shawn Murray of Midwest City; three daughters, Tami Waynette Castillo and her husband Martin of Yukon, Shana Dawn Baker and her husband Kirk of Altus, Wendy Karyl Miller of Tipton; one sister, Patricia Ann Gifford and her husband Leroy of Tahlequah; eight grandchildren, ; ten great-grandchildren, .

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lum and Rosie May Lowe; his wife, Kay Lowe; one grandson, Eric Landon Murray; three brothers, Charles Clifton Lowe, James “Dude” Lowe, and Bill McGuire; seven sisters, Ermadean Maines, Betty Jean Lowe, Bessie Jared, Ida Mae Lowe, Doris Anita Lowe, Estrella Shaffer, and Barbara Lowe.
