Funeral service for Eunia L. Greear will be at 1 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel with Trevor Clark, Lead Pastor of Hilltop Assembly of God, Oklahoma City officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mountain Park Cemetery, Mountain Park, Oklahoma.

Eunia L. Greear, 95, of Del City, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024, at her daughter’s home in Del City. She was born November 23, 1928, in Centrahoma, Oklahoma to Andrew J. and Mildred M. (Tabor) Hand. She grew up in different locations in Oklahoma as the family moved around when she was young. Eunia held different jobs in her lifetime and spent most of her time working. She ran an ice cream truck, was a custodian at Cameron University and worked at CR Industries, an automotive parts plant in Hobart, Oklahoma.

Eunia was a very compassionate person and enjoyed praying and witnessing with people. She loved to sing and play the piano. She and her husband, the late Rev. James E. Greear, would often sing at nursing homes in Hobart and Snyder until James’ health began to fail. James and Eunia were married on October 22, 1947, in Texas. James passed away on December 9, 2015. Eunia was also passionate about exercising and was known to have many pieces of exercise equipment.

Eunia is survived by her four children, Cordelia Fannin of Del City, Sharon DeWitt and husband Irwin of Wichita Falls, Texas, David Greear and wife Dona of Mountain Park and Gary Greear and wife Shari of Mountain Park, eight grandchildren, Michael Fannin of Del City, Brian Fannin and wife Tatum of Cache, Oklahoma, Rick Fryer and wife Rany of San Antonio, Texas, Ronnie Fryer and wife Mary of Randlett, Oklahoma, Chasidy Greear and fiancé Michael Hopkins of Eldorado, Oklahoma, Enjoli Greear of Lawton, Oklahoma and J. Steven Cason of Cotulla, Texas, Summer DeWitt Mills and husband Mark of Wichita Falls and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren and other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Eunia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Eunice “Bud” Hand, Finis Dayton Hand and sister, Elna Bowman.
