Jack Michael Allen

Jack M. Allen, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, age 19 of Cardington, Ohio left this earth too soon. He was born on March 5, 2005, in Columbus, Ohio to Dax M. and Amanda R. (Goble) Allen. Jack “Jackie” Michael was a light. Jack gave his life over to the Lord when he was seven. He prayed and he knew God and Jesus. His family laughed that he was trying to supercharge everyone in heaven right now or get bigger wings.

Jack was a 2023 graduate of Snyder High School in Oklahoma and was currently attending the U.N.O.H in Lima.

Jack always had a smile on his face and grease on his hands. He cared for and loved so deeply; he didn’t know a stranger. He came up with the goofiest things to say and do and had a wit that was unparalleled to most. It always caught everyone off guard, but his thinking was usually spot on. Jackie was so intelligent and could figure anything out. He has always been an old soul. Jack was not perfect, and he made mistakes. He loved to be outside.

Jack was such an awkward little kid and pre-teen and finally hit his stride. He was slow to anger and just like a duck would let so much roll off his back. Jack wanted the best for everyone and wanted the world to be fair: this just proves it isn’t. He had so many talents but unfortunately organizing his schoolwork was not one of them. He was stubborn, he had a thirst for knowledge, and he was a hard worker. Jack loved to be under a truck or car. Jack also loved to be on the back of a horse; the faster the better. He could tame the untamable, horse or dog.

He was excited about life and loved all kinds of music. He sought counsel before making decisions and gave the best hugs. He never hesitated to hold his mother’s hand and would often grab it first. We know Jack was a dreamer, he would share his plans all the time with his mother, and she would always encourage him. They would always talk about how to accomplish his dreams. Jack wanted to see the world and experience everything. In 19 short years, Jack did so much, he saw so much, and knew so much.

Left to cherish Jack’s memory are his parents, Dax and Amanda Allen of Okla., his brother Colson Allen of Okla., maternal grandparents, Don (Sheryl) Goble of Cardington; paternal grandparents, George (Vicki) Allen of Apache Junction, Ariz, aunt, Megan (Aaron) Bigelow; Emma and Landon Davis, uncle, Chad Goble; Blake and Ryker Goble; uncle Jeff (Johanna) Allen; Jason (Raquelle) Allen; Jaren Allen, and Janna (Ben) Binion; uncle Rob (Deb) Allen; Dakota (Doug), Justice Allen, Jesse Allen, and Dalton Allen, aunt Nissa Bell; William Jenkins; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 3 – 7 p.m. at Gilead Friends Church, 4863 U.S. 42, Mount Gilead, Ohio 43338 where the funeral service will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 1p.m. We ask that if you have a truck, preferably diesel, you bring it to see Jack. If you can roll coal, please do it but we kindly ask you to do it outside of the church grounds. If you don’t have a truck, he also loved fast and unique cars. Let’s move him out in style. “Build Ford Tough…to work on”
