Geraldine (Geri) grew up and attended school in Mountain Park, graduating as valedictorian in 1945. She met the love of her life Oren Baden while attending school. They were united in marriage on January 27, 1946, in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma while Oren was on leave from the U.S. Army. This blessed romance lasted over 66 years.
Geri and Oren began their farming and ranching life together in Cold Springs, Oklahoma moving to the Consolidated 8 Community in 1957, where they raised their family. They raised cotton, wheat, and cattle. Geri was very active in the family business working next to Oren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Roosevelt.
