Byron A. Niebruegge

Byron A. Niebruegge died on June 4, 2024, following a battle with cancer in Plano, Texas.
Byron was born on January 10, 1940, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Viola Verena Oberg and Fred Henry Niebruegge of Mountain Park.
He graduated from Snyder High School in 1958. On August 22, 1959, he married Beverly Ryan.  They both continued in school, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. With the help of their parents (the Ryans bought a duplex near the medical center), Byron was able to continue his studies at the Oklahoma University Medical School and graduated in 1963.
From this marriage, Teresa Marie, Deborah Ann, Mark Ryan, and Todd Byron were born. They resided in Oklahoma City; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Edmond and Tulsa.
While in Tulsa, Byron worked as a physician at the Sunoco Refinery. In October, 1978, Byron and Beverly were divorced. 
In the spring of 1979, Byron married Teri Morris and adopted Teri’s daughter, Shannon.  
He is survived by: his wife, Teri; former wife, Beverly; daughter, Teresa Marie Newman; son, Todd Niebruegge and daughter-in-law, Susan; adopted daughter, Shannon and son-in-law Brian; and grandchildren:  Peyton Ashley and Michael Juliano; Ryan Madison Niebruegge; Matthew Hernandez; Megan Leigh and Stephen Falcon; Sullivan James Newman; Jonathan Ryan Newman, Bailey Nicole Niebruegge; Addison Leigh Newman; Rebekah Nicole Niebruegge; Anneliese Rae Niebruegge; Jonas Ryan Niebruegge; and Isaiah Byron Haines; and great-grandchildren: Sophia and Avery Niebruegge; Mia, and MJ Juliano. 
Byron is preceded in death by: his parents, Viola Verena Niebruegge and Fred Henry Niebruegge; daughter, Deborah; sister, Beverly Johnson; son-in-law, David Newman; and son, Mark Niebruegge. 
Memorial Services were held in Plano on June 28, 2024.
