Graveside service for Travis Wayne Johnson will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Mountain Park Cemetery, with Elder Norman Jones and Elder Art Barker officiating. 
Travis Wayne Johnson, 50, of Snyder, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, in Oklahoma City. He was born on March 11, 1975, in Tucson, Arizona, to William (Bill) and Karen (Brunson) Johnson.
Travis worked as a groundskeeper and irrigation technician at the Tucson Country Club Golf Course, and he was an exceptional tile setter. He lived in Arizona for 47 years, recently moving to Snyder, where he worked as a groundskeeper at the City of Altus Golf Course. Outside of work he loved to fish and garden, which is why he fell in love with Oklahoma. Travis was a member of the Tucson Primitive Baptist Church and after moving to Snyder he became a member of the Snyder Primitive Baptist Church. 
Travis is survived by his father and mother, Bill and Karen Johnson of Mountain Park; sister, Danielle (Johnson) Dillenburg and husband Cory of Tucson, Arizona; two daughters, Katawna Johnson and Tyra (Johnson) Vega of Tucson; two grandsons, Lorenzo and Isidro Vega of Tucson; uncle and aunt, Joe and LeAnn Mapes of Tucson, uncle and aunt, Mark and Gerri Brunson of Fulton, Kentucky, uncle, Gary Brunson of Tucson, Arizona; great uncle, Wayne Brunson of Pahrump, Nevada, great aunt, Latrisha Purser of Mountain Park; two nephews, Aldyn Key and Cooper Dillenburg, niece, Brynlee Key all of Tucson, and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother, Robert (Bob) and Margaret (Cook) Brunson, grandfather and grandmother, Johnny and Helen Johnson all of Tucson, and great uncle, Jr. Purser of Mountain Park, Oklahoma.
