Odrinnie Kay August, 79, Long time resident of Altus, passed away on Thursday May 7, 2026, in Oklahoma City.
Kay was born on May 9, 1946, in Mountain Park, to Foy E. and Idella (Fitts) Ryan. She lived her life to the fullest, never missing a chance to share a laugh or enjoy a drink. She brought joy to everyone she met and will be missed by all those that knew her.
Kay is survived by her two sons, Fritz R. Ethridge and wife Jayna and Bryan M. Ethridge and wife Kimberley, daughter, Lisa M. Ethridge, brother, Dalton, two sisters, Mary and Beverly, grandchildren, Michael, Jacob, Lisa, Nathen, Charla, Sarha, Nato, Carmen, Monica, and Silver, and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Carol, and grandson, Carlos.
