Judy Louise Duryee

Judy Louise Duryee, age 86, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, in Irving, Texas. Born July 6, 1939, in Lawton, she was a proud 1957 graduate of Snyder High School, where she was a cheerleader and active 4-H member.
In her youth, she also served her community as a compassionate Pink Lady hospital volunteer. Judy retired as an account team lead from Michael’s/MJ Designs headquarters in 2007. Known for her frugality, patriotism, and deep love for family, she found simple joy in shopping trips to Dillard's and nurturing local birds, squirrels, and opossums.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Mattie Weber, her husband of many years, Richard Duryee (2018); brothers, Melvin and Calvin Morrison; and sisters, Verlyn Harris and Marjorie Cornelison.
She is survived by her son, William Anderson (Stacy); daughters, Sherry Ross (Michael), Karen Walter (Charles), and Susan Anderson; sister-in-law, Geneva Morrison; six grandchildren, Ian Anderson, Keenan Anderson, Shawn White, Jordan Knipp, Ashley Walter, and Hanna Horn (Marshall); and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Snyder Methodist Church on Saturday, June 13th, beginning at 10:30am. All friends and family are invited to celebrate her life and mourn her passing.
