Graveside funeral service for Billy G. Holland will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2026, in Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, with Kent Marcum, Minister, Indiahoma Church of Christ officiating.
Arrangements are under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.
The family will greet friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Billy G. “Bill” Holland was born on July 10, 1932, at St. Anthony’s in Oklahoma City, to Otis and Clara Holland. He died on Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Snyder. His mother passed away in August of 1936. He was raised by his father. He was drafted in 1950 to the US Army and drafted again in 1954. 
Bill married Lousie Hamilton on December 24,1951. Two children were born from their marriage, Stanley Neal Holland and Michael Lee Holland. Bill and Louise farmed for 14 years and owned a dairy, before moving to Snyder in 1966 where he resided until his passing. 
Bill worked at Clinton Sherman Air Force Base as a carpenter until it closed. Upon closing, he was transferred to Ft. Sill where he worked as a carpenter until retirement. 
Bill was a member of the Church of Christ and attended church at Headrick until it closed. He built the upper floor on the church building in Headrick. Upon closing, he brought his song leading abilities to the Snyder Church of Christ and at the time of his death, he was a song leader at the Indiahoma Church of Christ.  
Bill was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, OU athletics, and the OKC Thunder. In his free time, he enjoyed being outside, riding his bicycle, going for walks, hunting (without ammo) and fishing, and watching the grandkids play. 
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Stan and Lisa Holland, grandson and his wife, Kent and Colleen Holland, and granddaughter, Shannah Holland all of Snyder. One sister-in-law, Juantia “Sis” Hyde of McCloud; nephew, Jim Holland of Norman; niece, Cathy Barolak of Houston, Texas; nephew and his wife, Ralph and Billie Hyde of Texhoma; niece and her husband, Connie and John Dotson of Madill; nephew and his wife, Greg and Julie Carpenter of Headrick. eight Great-grandchildren: Hayley Holland, Tanner Holland, Maci McCorkle, Morgan “Boomer” McCorkle, Hunter Holland, Dae’Havon Holland, Heather Holland, and Gracelynn Holland all of Snyder. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ottis and Clara Holland; his in laws, Dee and Etta Hamilton; his son, Mike Holland; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Mary Holland; brother-in-law, Jimmy Hyde; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Barbra and Carl Carpenter; brother-in-law Wayne Dee Hamilton; nephew’s wife, Cheryl Holland; nephew, Steve Holland; and niece Tonya Johnson.
